Sponsored by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), the I Make America Campaign is dedicated to furthering the interests of AEM member manufacturing companies by advocating for policies that strengthen our industry and economic vitality. The I Make America Harley tour is in full swing and is on target to visit nearly 30 member companies across the nation through October in support of pro-manufacturing policies. Business owners, employees and interested citizens have a chance to win the 2014 custom-painted Harley-Davidson Road King. You can sign up to win at www.imakeamerica.com. The lucky winner of the Harley will be drawn in October and announced at the AEM Annual Meeting in November.
The Nationwide Harley Tour stopped at the Telsmith, Inc. Mequon, Wisc.-based headquarters on July 3rd. “Telsmith, Inc. has a rich history of manufacturing innovative products for the aggregate & mining industries with a US-based workforce that takes pride in their individual jobs to deliver quality products to our worldwide customer base,” says Matt Haven, president of Telsmith, Inc. “Programs, such as I Make America, ensure that opportunities in manufacturing will not only remain in the US, but will continue to expand.”
