HYDRA-JAW model H2550:
Taking a revolutionary approach to jaw crusher design, the Telsmith Hydra-Jaw™ features capabilities that offer advantages to any producer. Reliable and easy to operate, the H2550 delivers greater uptime capability and longevity yielding lower operating costs.
The H2550 main frame is a low profile, sculpted frame designed for ease of installation in track mobile or wheeled portable units. Utilizing modern FEA design techniques, Telsmith engineers have used the sculpted approach to reduce weight and height while maintaining integrity or longevity.
A unique, Telsmith engineered hydraulic toggle provides operating features that offer ease of operation and improve uptime capabilities:
- Hydraulic Adjustment: Push button controls allow the operator to adjust the crusher setting in moments (no tools or extended downtime). Operators can make adjustments as often as they like without loss of production. By maintaining the proper setting, feed to the secondary crusher is controlled, allowing optimum total plant production over the course of the year.
- Overload Relief: A hydraulic relief mechanism protects the bearings, main frame and other components from overload stresses that can result from tramp iron or other uncrushable materials entering the chamber. When operating in the auto mode, the system will automatically re-set the crusher to the pre-event setting for continued operation.
- Chamber Clearing: Following a power failure or emergency stop, a jaw crusher must be cleared of stone before it restarts. Traditionally this meant climbing into the crusher and digging out the stone, increasing the risk of injury to employees. The H2550 uses the powerful hydraulic toggle to crush the stone that remains inside the chamber, clearing the crusher in as little as 15 minutes. Oversized stone discharging onto the belt is controlled so operations can resume, eliminating hours of downtime.
Building on a century of experience and applying modern technologies, Telsmith has set a new standard of excellence with the Hydra-Jaw H2550.
