Summary/Requirements:  Position Responsibilities: The Parts Forecasting and Planning Analyst will be primarily responsible for effectively forecasting and planning inventory in support of pre-determined service levels. This position will require a comprehensive understanding of: - Demand planning - Inventory positioning - Statistical inventory modeling to drive desired results - Price/ Performance Sales Forecast model Additional responsibilities include: - Manage inventory levels in all channel locations - Review all forecasts on a monthly basis - Make decisions to most effectively utilize the Company’s inventory - Work closely with Equipment Inventory Management to ensure overall inventory levels remain within established parameters - Manage obsolescence plan - Provide unsolicited input on improving overall business metrics to management - Utilize statistical methods to support business decisions - Manage engineering changes and the effects on forecasting and inventory - Provide input to and Review price change effects on inventory items and plan accordingly - Work closely with customers and plant operations to ensure the highest level of communication and commitment - Develop and implement a comprehensive set of metrics to measure the effectiveness of the company’s actions and reactions - Define, select and support software tools for managing responsible areas - Actively participate in the formation and development of the sales plan.
